I was purging + rummaging through old photos yesterday and found this. My son was just born and my then photographer husband requested an impromptu pose to test a new innovative way to photograph people in the studio: digital! It was 1995 and it was a brand new invention + technology at the time where film was still being used in the industry. ie. you couldn’t see the photograph you’d just taken. I remember thinking that it was an amazing invention that was finally in the consumers hands! And the coincidence was I was also reinventing myself as the GIRL who I knew I was at the time vs the WOMAN I knew I had to be in order to be the mom I wanted to be for this beautiful boy. It was a pivotal time in my life that help me to gather strength for my next phase… being a single mama of...

For many years, I’ve been coaching entrepreneurs on how to keep up with staying true to who they are + who they’re becoming + how to be in alignment with their brand + biz goals. Because guess what? We personally change + grow + evolve just like our business. We’re the pioneers + creators of our business + personal brand so it’s a natural progression that we occasionally find ourselves at a crossroads, feeling called to pivot in another direction - either in a small or in a BIG way. Like all transitions, they can feel isolating, confusing + daunting - particularly if there’s any amount of internal doubt. And the longer we grapple with this results in some form of self-sabotage which can easily block our business success. In my (+ my clients) experience, getting the support needed to move through this reinvention/rebranding phase is critical. #notfearmongoring Whether it’s through a coach like myself or...

Not happy with how life is showing up? What is it for you? Your career? A relationship? Your physical or emotional health? Your finances? A greater sense of fulfillment? Only YOU can change it, gorgeous. Quit waiting for someone to rescue you or for some other event to happen before you think you can affect change. ‘Cuz that’s just fear of the unknown + an excuse that disempowers you into believing you need something outside of yourself to have what you want. Let me tell you something… If you’re thinking about change + it’s showing up in your thoughts daily...

A preconceived notion of what I thought my life was blew up last week. Slowly I’ve been healing from the experience by quietly giving myself the rest + recovery needed. With each breath I‘m allowing myself to honour the difficult process that comes with trauma. Just before this occurred, I had something brewing behind the scenes that I planned to launch this week. Instead of pushing through, as I sometimes do, I allowed myself to be completely present to surrendering to the swirling emotions and simply allow them to move through me. I’ve had to release the urgency and control around work + this launch + forcing the speed of this healing process. And instead, allow myself to sit with the devastation that occurred without guilt, without over-thinking, without self-judgement, and instead...

How many of us made the decision to be an entrepreneur, not whilst in deep contemplation calmly sipping on our Sunday morning chamomile tea, but rather having gone through a painful, brought-us-to-our-knees, turbulent time that held our feet to the fire that made us decide "enough is enough"?! Change is never unicorns + lollipops - but it's necessary. As Tony Robbins so boldly says, "If you're not growing, you're dying". Since we're constantly evolving and growing, as entrepreneurs especially, things must move quickly to survive. When you hear the call, you can either pick up + answer the invitation by taking action, or be prepared for the call to get louder, with greater intensity so you can no longer ignore it and you're forced to act. Your choice. Where in your business, or life, have you decided that *ENOUGH* is effing ENOUGH? Have you had ENOUGH of: Playing small? Weak boundaries? Feeling fearful to take the next step? ...
